Step 1: Put your (iTunes, Winamp, Media Player, iPod, etc) on shuffle.
Step 2: Post the first line from the first 30 songs that play, no matter how embarrassing.
Step 3: Strike-out the songs when someone guesses the song and artist correctly.
Step 4: Looking them up on Google or any other search engine is CHEATING!

Hm.
I seem to have a renewed interest in Welsh language and culture. That's not so bad, right... it's just, I don't speak Welsh. I'm listening to Welsh song - which are actually good - but I understand none of them.

I want to learn Welsh, but um, it's useless! Hm.

Poor neglected little LJ... I feel sorry for it. Not sorry enough to post something of any not... but I do feel sorry for it.

Well, NaNo's going quite well, I'd say. It's day two and I have 5547 words written, and I think (again) that they're of fair quality... I'll need to edit later, 'course, but still.

I'm at fifteen A4 pages of writing and I haven't really gotten to the PLOT of the book: the gargoyles moving house, basically. I'm not that worried, though.

And, in other news, I get to see fireworks tonight :D It's fun, because I get to see friends that I haven't seen outside of school for two months. (We, er, don't go out a lot)

So, yay!

I've made some good progress, I think, for my first day. I've written 4000 words today which, I think, is good. ...especially considering that I was aiming for 2000. :D

I haven't yet go to the part where the Witches slaughter the gargoyles, and I'm quasi-looking forward to it... I mean, it'll get the words out, but I have to kill many gargoyles. ;.;

So, NaNo seems to be going well so far. Woo :D

*sigh*

People at my school are stupid. They want a prom at the end of year eleven. It's a bloody retarded idea, but eh. I'll go in my "Life sucks" t-shirt complete with "Nesting Eagle" trousers.

It just wouldn't work. Besides, it'd be no alcohol-allowed. :(

...eh.

Nothing much has actually happened lately. The most exciting thing that has actually happened is me consuming half and bottle of apricot schnapps and having trouble with bottletops. Bastard things.

Short story about a girl and a dragon follows. I woke up the other morning and, well, I felt motivated to write this.

I'm pissed off now. At around two am this morning a terrorist attempt to attack and "cause mass death and destruction" was stopped. That's all nice, but I'd like to be able to go on my holiday Monday, and that may not be possible any more.

On the plus side, I have a nice new microphone which I haven't stopped using :D It's leet.

I went to see them in Cardiff last night and they were simply amazing. Their support bands (mea, Dopamine and The Blackout) were awesome too, but none could compare to the simply legendary awesomeness that is/was the Lostprophets.

The entire arena was a giant moshpit and Shinobi vs Dragon Ninja created the most awesome vibe ever! Seriously, they are awesome. They played "Can't Catch Tomorrow," "4AM Forever," "Last Train Home," "Rooftops" and more.

The concert was simply amazing and I love that they're Welsh and in support of other up-and-coming Welsh bands.

So, in conclusion: Lostprophets = gods.

The other night was such a random night that, well, I got confused. First off, let's start where the story does.

It was two pm and my friend and I were ditching school. We then had the bright idea to call our other friend and take a bus down to the beach. All good so far, right? Right.

So, he agrees to come to the beach and all goes well blah blah blah... So, waiting for the bus back, we get attacked by a tribe - yes, tribe - of children. It was... horrible. The oldest was about ten and the parents were nowhere to be found. (Apparently they were in their house, having a "good time, so fuck off!" which we gleaned from the three year old.) We missed the bus because we were trying to get the parents to answer the door to discipline their kids, too, so we had ANOTHER hour outside waiting for thr bus.

When we finally got to the bus station, the bus that would have taken us home had left. Ten minutes early, so we were screwed. We had to catch a bus then to another town which only sometimes has buses to where we needed to go. So, we got there at 10:10 PM, and the next bus was at 10:40 PM and because of that, we went for a little walk to Burger King. We arrived there at 10:30, pretty much knowing we'd miss the bus.

After we'd eaten, we decided "Hm, let's go and call on our other friend! Woot." and we walked about two miles to talk to our friend. He was all "OMG..." when we appeared at his door from the shock.

We sat in his kitchen for about ten minutes until his mother offered us a lift home. We accepted, because it meant that we didn't have to walk the three miles home on a long, lonely road at night...

*cough*

In other news, I went to some weird country park thing yesterday with my school. It was actually quite fun, even considering that I almost died while crashing a go-kart... three times. It was fun, however. :D

I am KingHarlequin. Of course, I'd like to just be known as "Harlequin," but some deplorable LJ user has stolen this name and, therefore, forced - yes, forced - me to became a self-aggrandising oaf. Yes, oaf.

I enjoy writing things - some are good, and yet some fall into the "WTF is that?" category. I'm currently working on a novel(la) entitled "Stone Cold Vengeance: Emerald Tears." Now, it only has ~4000 words so far, but I'm lazy so that's about it for now.

I've got a "Gargoyles" fanseries in the works, tentatively titles "And The Road Goes Ever Onward..." and it begins with "Starting Afresh" which is, again, a tentative title. Strangely, though, the only "episode" that I've got written is the ninth, "Secrets of the Aegean."

I on-and-off write Pokemon fanfiction, too, but very infrequently. I guess you could say that my major fandom is Gargoyles' 'cause it rocks. j00r s0x.

So, in conclusion, "hello."
